I created this piece during Gemini season of 2021. I had broken glass at least three times that season, and found it to be a sign of shattering perceptions. This piece is made of shards of glass from my broken bedroom window that I had accidentally stepped through one day.
The first photo is the window with no sun shining through it, and the second is the window with the sun shining through it.
As is the nature of the piece, it shattered shortly after my friend purchased it and placed it in her window.
